Northgate Information, the UK-listed IT company, has been tipped to sell its Sx3, the Northern Irish managed services business it acquired in April 2005 from Viridian. Although the business is not actively on the market, the company receives regular approaches and analysts believe that a strong offer would tempt it to sell. Potential buyers for the division include Capita, Serco, BT Global Services, US group CSC and Xansa. Sx3 reported revenues of £116.8m in 2005.
