NTL is finalising plans to put its television and radio broadcasting business on the market, according to sources. The sale is expected to generate at least £1.2bn for the UK's largest cable operator, which began putting preliminary plans in place for a disposal following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year.
