Pan Fish, the Norwegian fish farming company, may have to dispose of some of its UK businesses to satisfy the OFT following its merger. The merger will make Pan Fish the world's largest fish farming company. The Pan Fish group had revenues of NOK 1,969 million in 2005 and an operating profit of NOK 130.2 million. Pan Fish currently has operations in Norway, Canada, the Faroes and Scotland, in addition to a significant salmon value-adding business in France and a sales company in Japan.
