Really Useful Theatre Group - Business Sale
18/01/2005
Andrew Lloyd Webber, the theatre owner and composer, is considering the £500m sale of his Really Useful Theatre Group. The consideration of a sale follows an unrequested offer from Ingenious Media, the FT said. Lloyd-Webber has taken on entertainment specialist Patrick McKenna to negotiate the sale of four theatres in London's West End to an unknown purchaser. If that deal goes through, he might then sell off a further seven venues possible interested parties are producer Max Weitzenhoffer and fellow theatres owner Cameron Mackintosh.
