Reed Elsevier, the listed anglo-Dutch publisher, announced in its annual results that it would be selling its Education division in order to focus on digital opportunities. Reed’s turnover for the 2006 financial year was up 4 percent to £5.4bn, with pre-tax profits of £1.05bn.
