Refresco, the Dutch drinks business owned by UK private equity firm 3i, could come up for sale soon, sources familiar with the asset said. Should 3i go for a sale, potentially interested parties could include Rauch Fruchtsaefte, the Austrian juice company, Princes, the UK fruit juice and canned foods subsidiary of Japan's Mitsubishi, and Cott Corporation, the US based soft drink maker. Private equity groups active in the branded and private label drinks sector could also be interested in Refresco, one source suggested. Refresco could be valued between EUR 400m and EUR 450m.
