Rentokil Initial, the buisness support services group, is believed to have received a number of approaches for its conferences business, Initial Style. One of the bids is rumoured to be from Amanda Staveley, the founder of Q.ton, a purpose-built conference centre. Although Rentokil Initial has denied the business is for sale, the division is believed to be an attractive asset by private equity players.
