Rentokil Initial, the pest control to contract cleaning group which is undergoing an internal review following the departure of its chairman and chief executive, will receive offers for its conferences business that could be valued at around £250m. Amanda Stavely, the dotcom entrepreneur who last year made an approach to buy the conferences business plus a number of private equity houses including Duke Street and Charterhouse, is known to be interested.
