Rentokil Initial, the UK-listed pest controller, is reportedly keen to sell Initial, its electronic security business. Rentokil has announced a strategic review of the business, with analysts predicting that Initial could fetch around £500m. Initial provides electronic security services to commercial and public sector customers in the UK, France, Holland and the USA. In 2005, it reported a turnover of £262.7m with adjusted operating profits of £37.2m.
