Rixonway, the Dewsbury-based kitchen manufacturer with 285 staff, has undergone a £20m management buy-out backed by private equity firm August Equity. Shaw Cross-based Rixonway Kitchens, the UK's largest manufacturer solely supplying the social housing sector, was bought by former sales and marketing director Paul Rose, who is now the company's managing director, Mark Gibson, Nick Greenall and Julian Dudley. Robert Horvath has been appointed chairman. Rixonway Kitchens employs 300 people at its site on Shaw Cross Business Park. The company hopes to increase its turnover to £30m in the next three years and create a further three shops of its sister business Keencost Kitchens.
