Roadchef and Welcome Break, two UK motorway services group, it has been reported that Roadchef chief executive Martin Grant said the company's owner Nikko Principal Investors is ready to sell the company as soon as the right offer comes along. Welcome Break chief executive Rod McKie has also said owner Investcorp is not planning to sell unless it can get a full value, which is likely to happen only in the next two years. Roadchef reported sales of £261m in the year to September 2004.
