Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Deutsche Bank to advise on the sale of its Condor Ferries businessRBS is asking approximately £300m for Condor, which operates ferries from the UK mainland and France to the Channel Islands. Condor's EBITDA is thought to be in the range of £25m - £30m. RBS bought Condor Ferries from ABN Amro via its RBS debt ventures business in 2004, paying £240m.
