Atlantic 252, the ailing longwave radio station that broadcasts music to Britain from Dublin, is for sale. RTL, the pan-European TV and radio broadcaster that owns 80 percent of the station and RTE, Irelands state owned broadcaster, are looking for a buyer for the 11 year old station. It could be worth about £20m although it has problems with sound quality and has just broken even in 2000.
