There are rumours of a potential disposal by Invensys of its rail signaling division. Analysts following Invensys have said the rail systems division is doing very well and Invensys could profit from a potential sale. Turnover is £438m with an Profit of £65m. The rail signalling unit could be attractive to a Canadian firm Bombardier, which has no signalling division, or a private equity buyer.
