RWE has extended a deadline for bids for its Thames Water business. However, RWE, the listed German energy firm, has stressed that it would complete the sale of Thames Water, its UK-based water utility, by the year's end. A decision to go ahead with a sale next year is anticipated inside a month. RWE is expected to secure a minimum of £7bn from a sale of Thames Water, the report estimated.
