Swissair's owner, SAIR Group, is believed to be in advanced negotiations with a major Asian hotel group, thought to be Raffles Holdings, over the £400m sale of its Swissotel hotel chain. SAir is believed to have appointed Credit Suisse First Boston in February this year to find a buyer for the chain of 23 hotels in Europe and North America.
