Sair Group, parent company of airline Swissair, has put its hotel division Swisshotel up for sale, in a move analysts believe could raise up to £500m. The company is understood to have asked its adviser, investment bank Credit Suisse First Boston, to auction the business and a sale memorandum is expected to be circulated soon. The sale is likely to attract interest from hotel companies looking to expand their European operates.
