Cable and Wireless, the UK-listed cable telecoms group is considering a sale as one of a number of options for its internet service provider Bulldog. Other options are said to include a joint venture, a wolesale arrangement or a partnership. NTL Telewest, Wanadoo and Tiscali have all been tipped as potential buyers should the sale go ahead. Analysts predict that Cable and Wireless could struggle to get a return on the £250 they invested in Bulldog, and advise that the company should wait unti the end of 2006 to sell it.
