In December 2004, Sarna, the listed Swiss-based plastics company, announced the divestment of all automotive activities, according to a company press release. The sales process is progressing according to plan. British subsidiary BNL, organizationally integrated in Sarnamotive Division America, will be sold separately. Sarna expects that the sales process for the automotive divisions including BNL will be completed by the end of 2005 at the latest. At the same time, Sarna is concentrating on further expanding its successful Sarnafil Division.
