Scapa, the UK cable and tape manufacturer, is expected to make disposals and even closures as part of the annouced strategic review, the investment bank Cazenove said in a research note. Cazenove is Scapa's broker. Scapa has announced it was undertaking strategic review of its business. According to a company insider the review is being conducted at board level and so far no financial adviser has been appointed. The company explained that trading in the first part of the 2005/06 financial year has been significantly below budget.
