Sendo, the British mobile phone maker, is hoping to be sold "within weeks", according to chief executive Hugh Brogan, quoted in the Financial Times. The company had taken on Lehman Brothers in 2004 to review partnership options or a sale and was now negotiating with three firms. Among them is believed to be Motorola. Brogan said Sendo owed money to Canadian manufacturer Celestica, but stressed that Sendo was not being forced to sell.
