Phoenix IT has acquired Servo Computer Services, the Derbyshire-based hardware and software services company, for £30m. The IT support services provider agreed to pay for Servo with £28m stg in cash and 708,103 new shares. Chief executive Nick Robinson said the group's continued expansion into the growing SME market for managed services and outsourcing is a natural extension of its existing offering and it expects to generate significant benefits for the group as a result of the acquisition.
