Seymour Pierce Ellis, the Crawley-based private client agency stockbroker with 21 staff, is to be acquired by Dowgate Capital for £4.6m. Neil Ivor Badger, a director of Seymour Pierce Ellis, will join the board of Dowgate Capital as executive director. The consideration will be paid in cash and shares. Dowgate Capital, formerly CFA Capital Plc, provices corporate finance services to smaller companies and is a nominated adviser for AIM-listed companies.
