The supplier of plastic cards to the Government and other major companies, ID Data, is deemed likely to go into administration after being affected by the credit crunch.The Hampshire-based company, which has provided cards for Sainsbury's Nectar and Tesco's Clubcard schemes, has run out of funding and has failed to raise cash from investors. ID Data has been threatened with a winding up order by the Inland Revenue after a missed tax payment. ID Data owes about £1m in back taxes.The firm is currently in the process of hiring administrators in order to protect itself from creditors.
