US private investment firm Sun European Partners LLP, the European advisor to Sun Capital Partners, Inc., has acquired kitchen and bathroom products retailer the HomeForm Group.The HomeForm Group is the UK's market-leading specialist retailer of fully-fitted home improvement products through its key brands Moben and Kitchens Direct, Sharps and Dolphin. The business operates from facilities in Manchester and Wolverhampton and has over 160 showrooms across the UK.Sun Capital Partners is a leading global private investment firm with significant global retail and consumer products experience. Sun Capital affiliates have invested in more than 145 companies across the world, with combined sales in excess of £17bn. These include well-known names such as the UK jeans company, Lee Cooper and lingerie brands such as Playtex and Wonderbra.As the new owners of the HomeForm business, Sun brings a wealth of retail experience and financial capital to develop it further. All HomeForm Group customer commitments, deposits and delivery dates for goods that have been ordered but not yet fitted will be honoured, as will all warranty and product guarantees.Tony Vicente, Chief Executive of HomeForm, commented "This is a fantastic opportunity for us.
