Sun Capital, private equity group and the former owner of van maker LDV, is finalising a rescue takeover of the struggling UK-based furniture chain, SCS Upholstery. The deal is expected to be announced shortly.Sun Capital Partners has been in discussions with SCS and has a period of exclusivity that is due to run out today.If the two companies do not come to an agreement by the deadline, other interested parties will be able to come forward.
