Superglass International, the UK-based insulation manufacturer, has been put up for sale. Investment bankers have begun an auction which could give the company a valuation in excess of £30m. The company is owned by Donald Fisher and his wife, and 3i, the UK-listed private equity firm which backed a £40m MBO of Encon, Superglass' parent company. The company is likely to interest private equity firms.
