Sutton and East Surrey Water may soon be on the market, according to an unsourced report. Owner East Surrey Holdings is currently tying up a deal with private equity firm Terra Firma. Terra Firma would be likely to sell off the water company in order to concentrate on its booming Northern Irish gas-supply business. It is thougth that a sale of the £140m company would take place within the next few months.
