Systems Union Group, the listed UK-based computer software group, confirmed that it is in discussions which could produce an offer to buy the company. 'As part of its strategic growth objectives and in the background of ongoing consolidation in the enterprise resource planning and corporate performance management marketplace,' a company announcement stated, Systems Union's board 'confirms that it is currently holding very early stage discussions which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company. A further announcement will be made in due course.' According to the announcement, the group's board said it has noticed recent movement in the company's share price. The firm has a market capitalization of £225m.
