Television production business for sale

The UK-based privately owned television production company, Rapido Television, has hired Livingstone Partners to manage the sale of the company. Rapido is hoping to attract bids for £5m.Chief executive Mark Hiley has reportedly said that a sale of the business should be completed by the end of the summer. Rapido’s assets include its production brand and its library of shows. The company owns and controls the mobile, online, TV and DVD rights in the UK and worldwide. Rapido has just finished securing these rights back from Channel 4.
