Beleaguered cable company Telewest is said to be considering the possibility of raising much-needed cash by selling Flextech. Flextech owns UK channels including Bravo, Challenge and Trouble as well as a 50 percent stake in UKTV. UKTV, a joint venture with BBC Worldwide, in turn owns various channels. Reports have valued Flextech at anywhere between 350 million and 750 million pounds.
