Ten Alps buys DBDA for £3.3m

Ten Alps Plc, the factual media company, has announced the acquisition of the multi award winning educational and corporate social responsibility business, DBDA for up to £3.3m.
DBDA, based in Harrow, has over 20 years experience, providing specialist content, production, consultancy and management services across sectors in which Ten Alps already has key positions, particularly education, safety and community-based markets. DBDA will strengthen the group’s credentials and operations across these sectors.
DBDA works with corporate clients such as Aviva, BMW, BP, Mini, Zurich, Red Cross and Marks and Spencer. Its main government and public sector clients include Transport for London, a range of Government departments, Road Safety Scotland, Scottish Executive, the Welsh Assembly and many local authorities, as well as charities like Red Cross, FIA and environmental groups such as the London Hydrogen Partnership.
The acquisition of DBDA will enhance the development of a dedicated corporate social responsibility programming arm to Ten Alps’ TV production companies, at the same time other Ten Alp Group services will become available to DBDA clients.
Managing director Dawn Boyfield, who runs DBDA, and brings with her 25 staff, will continue to run the company as DBDA Ltd, part of the Ten Alps Group.
