Ten Alps, the UK TV-production business headed by Sir Bob Geldof, has hired broker Collins Stewart that could signal that the company is considering a merger in an attempt to up the price of its shares. Ten Alps is worth around £22m, the item went on, and may soon consider selling parts of the business, including its non-core TV-advertising division, as well as making further acquisitions.
