04/12/2006
Renewable energy group Infinis is thought to be up for sale or a flotation and could fetch up to £800m. Owners Terra Firma Capital Partners have apparently appointed Deutsche Bank, Climate Change Capital and Merrill Lynch to advise on a possible transaction with a decision to be taken later this month. Rival energy groups EDF, Veolia, Scottish & Southern Energy and RWE have all been named as potential buyers. If the group is put up for sale. an information memorandum would be sent out during the first quarter of 2007.
