Tesco to sell online property business to an estate agents

Tesco is discussing a sale of its online property business. A chain of estate agents is due to purchase it.Tesco Property Market was established in June last year by the supermarket, with a £199 service which effectively aims to undercut other traditional home sellers.More established estate agents were angry, some even taking legal action to stop properties they were marketing from appearing on the site.Spicerhaart, the UK's largest independently-owned estate agency network, with more than 250 branches, has decided to buy the business.
