Texol Technical Solutions in administration

Texol Technical Solutions, the developer of bug-catching machines Midgeater and Mosquitoeater, went into administration at the end of February, following a period of poor trading. The administrators, KPMG, have been appointed to manage the sale process. KPMG initially plan to conduct a review of the employee-owned business. The company's latest full-year turnover was about £11m. Texol employs 150 staff in Dundee, Wester Gourdie. The Scottish company's other services include electronics, metal fabrication and gas generators.
