The Link, the UK-based mobile phone retailer, could be for sale after a strategic review. The review might prompt a sale, which could fetch up to £200m. Dixons chief executive John Clare is believed to have held talks with O2, regarding options for the business. O2, the UK-listed mobile phone operator, is a 40% shareholder in The Link. It is understood that O2 or Dixons have the right to block any sale to a rival of the other shareholder. The Link has almost 300 UK retail outlets, the report said.
