The Office of Fair Trading admitted that Interbrew may be allowed to keep some of Bass Brewers providing it agrees to a partial disposal of some of its brands, including Carling lager, Grolsch and Worthington. The Belgian brewer would be allowed to retain Tennent's lager, Bass Ale and the Scottish and Northern Irish Bass business.
