Three bidders are vying for the purchase of Seeboard, the south-east UK electricity supplier. They are Electricite de France, Eon and the UK's Scottish and Southern. The sale has been valued at £1.3-1.5bn. Schroder Salomon Smith Barney is handling the sale.
