UK-based drinks retailer Threshers is considering a sale of Haddows and Victoria Wine, its Scottish businesses. The investment bank Noble will advise on the sale. A source has estimated that the sale could achieve £25m-£30m. Potential bidders are tipped to be Gresham, Dunedin, ECI, Penta and the retail entrepreneur Tom Hunter.
