Toni & Guy, the family-owned chain of hair salons, is preparing for a trade sale in around two years time according to co-founder Toni Mascolo. Toni & Guy has over 300 salons in the UK and has built up a portfolio of associated businesses, including Toni & Guy hair products, a new label.m brand, an IT business and the Essensuals salon chain. Revenue for the salons last year reached £132m, and Mascolo estimates that the Toni & Guy operations alone are worth over £100m.
