Trinity Mirror to hold on to presses and archives of newspaper divisions up for sale
12/03/2007
Trinity Mirror, the UK newspaper group currently in the process of selling off three of its divisions, is likely to hold on to the printing presses and archive libraries of the newspapers that are for sale. Trinity has said it will give the eventual buyers access to libraries whenever they wish, however the move has sparked fears from some potential bidders that they may have to pay for access. The three divisions for sale are the Midlands group of regional papers, the London and South East titles, and the sports division. The sales are expected to raise a combined total of between £400m and £500m.
