TTP Communications, the Royston-based wireless technology company, is to be acquired by Motorola for £103m. Under the deal, a unit of Motorola will acquire TTPCom for 45 pence (24 U.S. cents) a share. Motorola, a Schaumburg, Ill., cellphone and wireless communications company, had been prepared to license TTPCom's AJAR mobile-operating system.
