Blackpool based company, TVR has been put up for sale by Peter Wheeler, the entrepreneur, for about £15m. A potential bidder is thought to be Creighton Brown. It is understood that a number of possible buyers have been approached by Wheeler including a wealthy American financier. It is reported that in the past Wheeler had tried and failed to sell the business to Alchemy Partners, the private equity firm led by Jon Moulton.
