UK bus companies in line to bid for Continental Auto

Continental Auto, the Spanish bus company, has been put on the market with an asking price of around £400m. UK bus operators National Express and Arriva have both been tipped as favourites to buy the business, with First Group and private equity firm Doughty Hanson also named as potential bidders. Continental Auto is currently owned by Spanish infrastructure company ACS, and has an EBITDA of €46m.
