UKRD, the private radio group, has hired KPMG CorporateFinance to look into a potential sale. An offer is already thought to have been made to the company. Local Radio Company and Ulster Television have been the subject of speculation regarding UKRD in the past. UKRD has 12 commercial radio stations, which were valued at around £40m and could attract attention from smaller private equity firms or industry majors.
