Unilever, the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant, is auctioning a clutch of toothpaste and other businesses worth up to $300m. The sale includes household names on both sides of the Atlantic such as Mentadent, Pepsodent and Close-Up toothpastes. The latest brands to be put up for auction account for $450m in turnover. Morgan Stanley is handling the sale.
