V Ships, the London ship-management business, has hired NM Rothschild to consider its strategic options. The group could be sold for approximately £250m. Close Brothers Private Equity and V Ships management currently own the majority of the company. Close Brothers acquired a 45% holding three years ago. V Ships provides crew members to vessels and services boats from luxury yachts to oil tankers.
