UK-based mobile phone giant Vodafone Group Plc played down a report alleging that it has already begun the process that will lead to the €1-2bn disposal of Arcor, its German fixed-line unit. Vodafone's investment adviser, UBS, is said to have compiled information to give potential buyers an overview of the unit.
