Robinson has acquired VR Plastics, the Nottinghamshire-based plastic injection moulding company with 85 staff, for £2.8m. The acquisition will be financed by bank debt. Robinson, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market, has factories in Chesterfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield and recently acquired a business in Poland. VR Stanton Hill is a plastic injection moulding business established in 1996. It employs 85 people at its premises near Sutton-in-Ashfield.
